Plans and implements comprehensive child development services to children and families enrolled in Early Head Start program. Provides a range of family support and advocacy services, conducts child development screenings and assessments, and develops individualized school readiness plans for children. Conducts weekly 90-minute home visits using the Parents as Teachers curriculum and assists with facilitating socialization groups. Participates in team meetings to implement goal-oriented family plans and assists in planning parent education activities outside of the home setting. Assists families with community resources and refers families to community services as needed. Completes weekly documentation of services to meet Head Start Program Performance Standards (HSPPS) and Children’s Home Society of Washington’s requirements. Has access to protected healthcare information (PHI) or confidential identifiable information (CII), both paper and electronic, as necessary, to perform related job duties and responsibilities. Provides support and mentoring to other team members.

Provided in-home habilitation care to children with developmental disabilities. Used reinforcement techniques, such as shaping, token economies, and other services. Worked on goals determined by a treatment plan to increase member’s independence for everyday living.

Guided tours and provided thorough knowledge about Grand Canyon University to prospect students who are interested in the university. Hosted students and marketed the university through various student events, academic presentations, and educating potential students. Planned engaging activities for prospect students to make them feel welcomed at the university.

Worked at a children's home alongside counselors, social workers, and other employees of the Hutton Settlement to help mentor children who have encountered hardship and neglect beginning at a young age. Learned and shadowed professional child social workers and counselors to gain knowledge about the counseling field and what approach is beneficial for children.

Coached 50 plus children ranging in ages from 1-year-old to 5-years-old in various sports including soccer, cheerleading, or basketball. Worked to improve athletic skills, while also introducing basic motor skills for developmental success beginning at a young age.

Provided strong skills and academic instruction to children ranging from newborn to twelve years old throughout the pandemic, as well as redirection to behaviors. Learned how to be flexible, helpful, cooperative, and patient towards coworkers and the ones I served. Cleaned environment for children and staff to remain in a safe, hygienic setting.
