Yoga Therapy is an emerging and powerful alternative healing modality that blends ancient yogic philosophies with modern, evidence-based healthcare and neuroscience to find optimal, full system well- being. As a Yoga Therapist, I work with the body as a gateway into the mind. Through the practice of specific postures, breath work, and mindfulness techniques, I work with each client to facilitate Autonomic Nervous System regulation to address trauma, mental health and other neural a-typical conditions.I believe that yoga should be accessible to all, completely personal, and in a space of absolute safety. I meet each client exactly where they are and become an advocate for their whole-body health through my vast knowledge and genuine connection. My approach is to empower each individual on their wellness journey by building a “toolbox” of poses, movements, and breathing techniques to seamlessly weave into their lifestyle.​I have been teaching yoga since 2012 and decided to pursue a career as a Yoga Therapist shortly thereafter due to my own struggles with Rheumatoid Arthritis and anxiety. I hold a certification as a Certified Yoga Therapist with The International Association of Yoga Therapists and RYT500 and E-RYT200 with the Yoga Alliance. I have worked with clients of all ages, abilities, and conditions but my main area of focus is in trauma and mental health. In addition to my private practice, I work with a neuropsychology practice in East Atlanta and lead retreats in Puerto Rico. ​
