Hey, there, and thanks for visiting my profile!My name is Rebecca, and I am the founder, CEO, and CTO of usetik, a startup focused on developing solutions for brands and customers (B2B2C) while promoting a circular economy.How did I get here you ask? Well after serving in the Intelligence Branch of the IDF (8200) I got my degree in computer engineering at the Technion - Israel Institute of Technology, and have been working as a software developer and for multiple startups ever since. Then one day, when I was organizing my makeup collection back in November 2020, it struck me as strange that there wasn’t a good tool out there for me to keep track of all the products that I had without using excel or pulling them all out.So from that point on, I set a goal for myself to create such a tool, one that could help me keep track of my products and their usage while also keeping me informed about my usage patterns. The tool I came up with was Highlit, which uses social media principles to enhance and encourage better inventory tracking practices.So here we are now. I love talking about the challenges and thrills of the #startuplife, advanced and new ways to interact with technology, and finding fun ways to use my collection to create exciting and new looks.So reach out, let's have a chat, and let's find a way to turn tiring and ordinary into inspiring and extraordinary!Some fun facts about yours truly:- I am lifelong friends with my co-founder Alex- At my core, I am a coder, and back-end is the way to my heart- When I set my sights on something new, I don’t stop until I have mastered it, and I will always rise to the challenge- I love makeup, and have a professional diploma from the Natasha Denona Makeup Academy- I speak Russian with a Georgian (the country not the state!) accent, but I will always take a cup of tea over a glass of wine
