As the Passover Program Director it was my responsibility to run and implement the all-inclusive Passover Program from start to finish. With high competition of Passover programs taking place worldwide, guests confided in me to secure their expectations and provide them with the tools they needed to make the best decision for their family. The attention to detail needed to be impeccable in every way to ensure needs were met to full capacity. I managed the day to day operations in compliance with regulatory requirements. In addition to all of the details that go into a program, I also promoted and created all marketing material for exposure via e-blasts, ads, and cold calling. This eight day program needed to be seamless in every possible way for our guests to leave satisfied and return each year.

I was responsible for prospecting, booking and supervising corporate events and social events including, weddings, bar/bat mitzvahs, quinceaneras, galas and banquets. I planned and executed several high revenue producing events including two all-inclusive Passover programs. I handled all marketing and created promotional material pertaining to our target market. I updated and monitored the hotel’s Facebook Fan Page. Each year I met and exceeded sales goals.

When I started my role as a Sales Assistant, it was my responsibility to solicit and secure new customers. Later, I was promoted to Production Manager where I then planned all photo shoots, commercial filming, and famous talent requests such as celebrity birthday parties. The incoming hotel shoot requests included soap opera filming, model photo shoots, and commercial filming. I revealed my creativity by finding ways to ensure hotel guests were not being disrupted while everything took place. I developed marketing plans each year for the specific Production Market niche to increase awareness and improve brand. I created group contracts, location agreements and event recaps. I handled training and supervision of sales assistants and interns. The Biltmore is Miami’s National Historic Landmark located in the exclusive Coral Gables area.

While being a student in college, I was required to take on an internship in the hospitality field and I was responsible for guest sales and services at the front desk. I reviewed daily front office procedures and interfaced with all departments. Some of my daily tasks included computing bills, collecting payments and handling any related incoming requests.
