● Responsible for reviewing client’s contracts between debtors for jurisdiction, venue, and arbitration clauses before posting accounts on National List for outside attorneys nationwide to accept and file suit on our client’s behalf for commercial litigation. ● Track the progression of each case by corresponding with attorneys on a regular basis and notating our client’s file. ● Inquire as to any documents (i.e. affidavits, summons and complaint verifications, contracts, invoices etc.) the attorney may need executed or forwarded to them and ensure the client supplies them. ● Obtain invoices from attorneys for suit costs and weekly outgoing checks in order to maintain payment request, payment sent, and suit costs excel spreadsheets.● Facilitate conference calls between attorney and client to maintain communication regarding facts of suit. ● Investigate debtor’s business status, location using many methods including Westlaw, social media, and internet searches to assist with efforts in accomplishing service and post-judgment remedies. ● Assist the head of the legal department in processing, organizing and filing various legal and nonlegal documents.
