Within this role, I was primarily focused on the responsibility of duties that facilitate the smooth running of Learn To Swim Victoria - Marketing, Social Media, Sales, Event Planning, Administration, Customer Service and more.

My role was based in the Melbourne Office where I assisted the Marketing Manager. I also worked alongside the rest of the Marketing team who are based in the UK, as well as the Commercial team based in various locations around the globe. I had the opportunity to work on many different projects including; event coordination for local and international events, designing marketing materials for external use, publishing blogs, partnership announcements and press releases to our website, social media content creation, photo and video editing for internal and external use and internal training for staff on event management.

Assisting the Marketing Manager in the office with duties such as creating, scheduling & posting social media content to Facebook & Instagram platforms, contacting influencers/bloggers and building relationships with them, tracking social media engagement and basic admin tasks. I also gained experience with event coordination, ensuring on-site activation ran smoothly with duties such as bump-in and bump-out of food trucks, ensuring safety and food checks had been completed, posting live content to social media platforms, liaising with customers and clients, fundraising, cash handling and basic admin tasks. The on-site events I was a part of included The Food Truck Park, The Australian Open, Echuca Food Truck Festival & Mernda Food Truck Festival.
