    Amphibian Ark's mission is to protect the world's most threatened amphibians, with a focus on species that currently cannot be safeguarded in their natural environments. I am responsible for promoting and managing Amphibian Ark's conservation-related programs. These include:1) Facilitating Conservation Needs Assessment (CNA) workshops and disseminating results to authors and appropriate stakeholders for further conservation action.2) Managing AArk’s Conservation Grants and Fellowship Program, including development of guidelines, oversight of the initial review process, and coordination of grant recipient reporting.3) Exploring and developing new initiatives to increase the contribution of ex situ amphibian programs to long term amphibian conservation.4) Managing AArk’s conservation databases and communications, including the newsletter, website, and Annual Reports. 5) Collaborating with the Training Director in the creation of materials and resources, such as seminar series and/or courses related to ex situ amphibian conservation, to disseminate to appropriate audiences.6) Acting as an ambassador for AArk with new and existing stakeholders, including the IUCN Amphibian Red List Authority, IUCN SSC Amphibian Specialist Group, the Amphibian Survival Alliance (ASA), the Atelopus Survival Initiative (ASI) and others.
