I am currently a senior in the Haslam College of Business at the University of Tennessee, Knoxville, where I am working toward a business degree in Marketing with a collateral of Leadership. In my recent position as a Store Leadership Intern for Kohl's, I took on responsibilities among all aspects of the retail environment. I had the opportunity to frequently analyze store results and data, and determine how my influence as an intern affected certain aspects within the store. In my previous position as a salon receptionist, I also took on the leadership role of head receptionist where I showed my dependability to peers while short staffed. In addition, I have taken on a leadership role currently as a Shift Lead at Nekter Juice Bar. In all of my positions, I have continued to receive consistent recognition for my performance and opportunities to take on additional levels of responsibility.Some of my business interests include marketing trends in the sports, retail, and hospitality/tourism industries. I am interested in learning what it takes to grow a brand and how to maintain positive brand image, as well as how a company may do that through the management of a business. My work and academic experiences have formed my interests in business operations and have led me to pursue a career in marketing and leadership. In the future, I hope to continue to grow and develop my skills through career opportunities, as well as through my education at the Haslam College of Business.
