My name is Rebecca Brunner-Caple and I work for CURE International, a non-profit organization committed to healing the sick and proclaiming the kingdom of God. I graduated with a Master of International Business from the University of Florida. Following my completion of the Cultivate Internship with OneHope, I worked for OneHope as an independent contractor in the Global Ministries Department. In this position, I gained project management experience, launching and managing field-level data collection for an upcoming grant deadline. I have worked as an intern coordinator for Rural Empowerment Development Innovations where I helped launch and oversee the Walkonyre Women's poultry project in Kenya. I utilized research, teamwork, and leadership skills to implement and evaluate development initiates to support and improve the Walkonyre Women's poultry business. I have also had the opportunity to work with NGOs including GIVE in Tanzania, Oaks of Righteousness in Haiti, and the Twelve by Twelve Love Project in Guatemala. These experiences gave me the opportunity to gain a global perspective and pursue my passions in international development, economic empowerment, and working cross-culturally.At the University of Florida, I have served as a Master of International Business Ambassador working to develop and impact the students in the graduate business program through professional development, community service opportunities, and social events. I have also had the opportunity to work as a teaching assistant for Human Resource Management and oversaw a leadership study as a research assistant within the Department of Management.
