Courses Taught:Theological Ethics (Spring 2015)

Training all new employees on procedures, sales cycle, and products; on-going training for all employees on product knowledge; large group trainings for entire staff on new products; assist customers with product selection; provide coaching to staff on sales floor on product knowledge; run the sales floor as requested by manager; and other miscellaneous duties including sample making, ringing purchases on a point of sale system, retrieving inventory from storage, assisting with special events, and shelving merchandise.

Hiring and supervision of federal work study student employees; maintenance of a multi-line budget for the department and for the chapel; recruiting, training, and scheduling of ministers for all campus services, liturgies, and events; advising of student service and justice organization, DUO; planning and implementing all aspects of Campus Ministry programming, including retreats, workshops, trainings, and monthly Cookie Nights; serving as a member of multiple all-university committees and working groups, including the AQIP Wellness Team, Staff Development Committee, and Student Activities Committee; assist with searches for several positions, including contacting references and communicating updates to candidates; additional tasks as requested by direct supervisor, the University president.

Scored standardized tests for various states.

Completed one unit of Clinical Pastoral Education at The Nebraska Medical Center. Clinical units: Solid Organ Transplant Unit, 5 West, Spanish-speaking patients in University Tower

Instructed two classes daily (one section of grammar, one section of conversation); planned and implemented lessons; assigned and graded all daily assignments and weekly assessments; assessed student progress weekly; assisted with placement interviews and placement exam

Answering phones and directing phone traffic; greeting visitors, maintaining the faculty appointment book, and helping visitors find locations on campus; assisting Administrative Assistants to the Academic Dean and President with mailings, sorting mail, and other administrative tasks as requested; maintaining building security by following proper protocol for guests and visitors; and other duties as requested or assigned.

SJW placed as Campus Minister at Cretin-Derham Hall. Served as administrative assistant for Campus Ministry department; assisted with liturgy planning; served on all-school committees (Social Justice, Social Justice Week, Intercultural Development); supervised monthly service projects (LEAP Forward for Children; Habitat for Humanity; Urban Plunge); served as faculty advisor for student groups (GSA, PRIDE, Sowers of Justice); chaperoned Red Lake Immersion; guest lectured on liberation theology and other topics; substitute taught as needed
