Its client base is more than 175 secondary and tertiary acute hospitals across Australia, ranging from public providers to major international for-profit chains. It also works with around 70% of the countries residential aged care providers. It provides advice to patients and their families on the best choices for them in these very sensitive situations, brokering the move and its implications into long term residential care. After three months with the company, I was asked to build its now highly successful Hospital division working with Hospitals and Allied Health departments across Australia to transition people into aged care. This required building relationships with acute care decision makers across Australia, explain the offering of this values led business and subsequently manage relationships as patients started to move through the Aged Care Decisions matching process. Selected Achievements:- Designed the routes to market, marketing collateral and channels of communication to launch this new division.- Built relationships with CEOs, the Executive Teams and Health Directors of 175 hospitals and more than 450 clinical professional leaders, meeting not only their practical and commercial but ethical requirements.- Created a $1.8m business from zero in two years, recruiting, training and building a team of specialist Placement Consultants in Brisbane to support customer requirements. - Part of the bid team for the successful tender as the sole provider for Gold Coast University Hospital, the largest of its type in Australia, subsequently onboarding them as a client of Aged Care Decisions and working with their internal team to create the necessary systems.- Acted as Provider Relationship Manager for six months to ensure the smooth and successful onboarding of a further 200 aged care providers. -
