About Rebecca Conant

Art. Science. Education. As a lifelong learner I'm curious about many other things, and recognize that most of us are interested in learning more. As a creative problem solver, I see links between apparently unconnected things, and help others combine new and old information to reach new connections and draw their own conclusions. As an interpreter, educator, and coach I train paid and unpaid guest engagement staff to facilitate visitors experiences so that they, too, can create their own learning. I am recognized as a manager, interpreter, facilitator, trainer, and coach of diverse paid and volunteer teams. As such, I strive to build genuine connections and establish rapport with others. From that place, I can talk to clients, visitors, staff, coworkers, and volunteer about anything, and create learning situations that meet their needs, lead to continued service improvements, develop and maintain collaborative partnerships, or resolve customer service concerns. I have a proven ability to develop hands-on, inquiry-based educational and interpretive programs for all ages and audiences, including children, families, and adults. Consequently, I am experienced in project management, reporting, and both short- and long-term planning. I bring my love of learning, creativity, problem solving and enthusiasm to my program development and the projects I do.
