Working alongside the CEO and directors of Netcel, I am responsible for the smooth-delivery of work from over 30 digital consultants to over 40 corporate clients.My role is a mixture of leadership, management, delegation and motivation. My operational responsibilities include the running of Netcel’s project management function, agency-wide resource management and ongoing improvement of project delivery systems.Ultimately I strive to continuously improve the overall experience and results that our clients achieve with Netcel.

Promoted to Project Director, I became fully responsible and accountable for Netcel’s expanding project management function. My responsibilities included the definition of the strategic direction for the department, ensuring best-practice was adhered to and creating and implementing a roadmap for process improvements.

As Netcel’s project team expanded, I was responsible for managing the new members of the project management team and ensuring the consistent quality of their outputs.In addition, I retained my existing responsibilities for solution scoping, planning, UX and resource management.

I joined Netcel as the sole project manager in October 2003. My responsibilities were wide-ranging and included project management of all our clients, day-to-day management of the project team, solution scoping and planning, wireframing, UX and resource planning.

Whilst taking time out to gain my pilot’s license in South Africa, I continued to work as a freelance digital consultant, working remotely with UK agencies whilst living in Cape Town.

Trafika Limited was a London-based web development company that specialised in content management systems for the publishing industry. My primary role was to manage projects from inception to completion, creating detailed scoping documents, schedules and budgets, and liaising with the clients, the in-house team and third-party contractors throughout the life of the project to ensure that all expectations were met.

In 1998, I co-founded a web design studio called Blue Gnu Design. Over 2 years we built up a portfolio of clients in London and throughout the UK. My responsibilities included marketing, pitching, project documentation and project management on multiple new media assignments.In 2000 the studio merged with the new media division of a London printing and repro house, First Impressions, to form a new company, Trafika Limited.

I was responsible for the creation and programming of 3D animations and graphics using industry standard software such as Maya, for clients including the BBC, Carlton Television, Glaxo Wellcome and Volkswagen.
