Rebecca Deane is the Principal Clinical Psychologist and founder of Creating Change Psychology and Counselling. Rebecca has worked in a range of public and private settings since 1996. Rebecca was instrumental in the setting up of the NSW Drug Court Treatment Program in South West Sydney.Rebecca’s experience includes working for more than 6 years in a large private practice of clinical psychologists, as well as a drug and alcohol rehabilitation centre, university health clinic, an adolescent mental health unit, a residential service for deaf and blind adults and also in juvenile justice. Rebecca has conducted research for the Illawarra Institute for Mental Health assessing aggression factors in inpatient units.Rebecca has significant experience and expertise in a range of mental health issues including depression, anxiety and panic, bipolar disorder, obsessive-compulsive disorder, sleep, chronic pain, bereavement, gambling as well as drug and alcohol issues. She maintains a particular interest in Weight Management and Body Image, Parenting and Post Traumatic Stress Disorder.
