Highly motivated self-starter with a passion for the creative industries. I have recently graduated from the University of Exeter with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Drama and am now working as Student Recruitment and Events Officer for Brighton MET College. Previously Student Services Executive for Bayswater Education. I have a particular passion for events management within the arts, and have managed a number of products as a result of this. The Tribe, was born from my passion for creativity and aims to bring together emerging talent in the creative industries through collaboration on different projects. My first event, a comedy night called 'Houston, We Are The Problem' was met with such success that I had to upgrade venues to meet demand, with all three ticket releases selling out. Although I am just starting out and have a lot to learn, I have a lot of exciting ideas for the future.Recently, I have been taking opportunities to further my marketing and social media management. I’m 2023, I completed an events and marketing internship with Exeter Cocktail Week. In this role, I engaged with a number of promotional techniques and administrative duties, as well as managing a team of ambassadors for a city-wide festival. More recently, I have taken on the responsibility of managing a range of social media platforms, where I am responsible for creating digital marketing plans across all social media platforms, monitoring trends in engagement to maximize sales, as well as completing daily administrative duties such as answering calls and emails, following up reviews, and monitoring trends. I really cherish these opportunities I and value any further chances for continuous learning.
