    This phone line was a confidential, anonymous, peer-to-peer service for people who experienced sexual assault and/or harassment. It offered non-judgemental support, active listening and information.My responsibilities included: recruiting, training, scheduling and supporting volunteers; all administration and logistic aspects of the phone line; drafting outreach materials; evaluation, strategy and planning; and documentation of phone line processes and resources.The phone line temporarily ceased operations in 2016 so that the DSU could focus their efforts on securing a sustainable source of funding. In 2017, Dalhousie students voted to approve a levy that would guarantee funds to a supportive service on campus for survivors of gender-based violence. The student union relaunched the phone line as part of this service, based on learning from the pilot project that my predecessor and I had carefully documented.
