For years, I have been helping organizations, large and small, to design, build, launch and assess learning environments and programs. She recently joined the University of California San Francisco as a Digital Equity Education Analyst under the Associate CIO for Education. Rebecca is a former faculty member in the Learning Design and Technology program at San Diego State University where she taught for over 15 years. Since 2015, Rebecca served as the Director of the Flexible Learning Environments Exchange initiative (FLEXspace.org), managing the FLEXspace.org community and collection, and providing outreach and support to help users at academic institutions worldwide share examples and resources for the planning, design, and evaluation of learning spaces. Rebecca has also worked as a consultant, instructional designer, coach and lecturer in the areas of educational technology, training and development, research and evaluation, social and digital media analytics, and organizational learning and performance systems. She has extensive experience serving a range of educators and leaders including university faculty, K-12 teachers, and workplace learning professionals across education, business, government, military, and non-profits.
