I am an enthusiastic NC State graduate with a Bachelor of Science in Parks, Recreation, and Tourism Management, aspiring to become a resort or marina manager. Some of my skills I excel in are customer service, cultural awareness, paying attention to detail, and leadership skills. I consider myself a travel fanatic and want to be able to give travelers a hospitable and enjoyable stay on their vacation by working in tourism management. Currently, I am working at Crosswinds Boating Center, the home of the only marina on Jordan Lake in Apex, NC. Here we rent Pontoon boats, fishing boats, kayaks, and paddle boards. We also offer boat storage and valet boat services. I use my time management skills to make sure all of the valet customers are getting in and out of the lake in a timely manner. I must also pay attention to detail when looking out for our pontoon rentals coming into the dock to deliver great customer service to our guests. When I am not working I enjoy swimming, walking and hiking around lakes, traveling around the world, and making my way through my new cookbook.
