Develop and implement statewide volunteer mobilization strategy to increase AmeriCorps service and volunteerism in Ohio. Develop and execute agency communications and external relations plan with statewide partners, legislators, commissioners, and volunteers.

Provide formulation and implementation of training and development for Ohio AmeriCorps programs and statewide volunteer infrastructure. Analyze training and development needs for the sector and design, implement, and evaluate strategies to meet those needs. Provide leadership for annual Ohio Conference on Service & Volunteerism, National Days of Service Project Grant competitions, and agency special events and initiatives. Create, implement, and manage organizational communication plan and manage outreach and communications with agency stakeholders.

Oversee operations and management for the community engagement department which includes the Foster Grandparent Program, RSVP, Dental OPTIONS, and community volunteer programs. Develop and implement outreach strategies to engage corporations, community groups, and individuals in volunteerism. Forge partnerships with nonprofits, government agencies, and community groups to increase pool of volunteer opportunities available to the community. Plan and execute national days of service projects with the goal of engaging 150-500 volunteers in service. Create and present workshops on volunteer management, social media best practices, and nonprofit capacity building. Manage web-based outreach for volunteer department including social media messaging, volunteer website development, and creation of content for volunteer newsletter.

Plan, develop, and implement 10-15 community volunteer projects per month. Plan and execute National Days of Service projects to engage 150- 500 volunteers in service. Oversee AmeriCorps members and ensure compliance with AmeriCorps grant. Oversee web-based outreach including social media, volunteer newsletter, and volunteer website. Forge partnerships with nonprofit organizations and government agencies to better engage volunteers in service.

Oversee training and recruitment of volunteers for Disaster Preparedness program. Create and present workshops on disaster preparedness to community groups. Manage federal homeland security grant. Forge partnerships with disaster groups including Red Cross, United Way of Central Ohio, Community Emergency Response Team, Franklin County and Columbus Medical Reserve Corps, and Columbus Public Health.

Oversee recruitment, training, and supervision of 26 AmeriCorps members per year. Develop annual training calendar with over 170 hours of professional development opportunities. Plan and implement service projects for national days of service. Oversee after school and summer programs for school age children and teens. Manage compliance and reporting for AmeriCorps grant.
