Providing support to grow the impact of The Phillips Foundation through their discretionary, strategic and venture philanthropy funding programs specifically for Australian based projects.

Supporting the delivery of the Social Enterprise Academy and ACRE’s first larger scale Social Enterprise Schools program in NSW. The program is up and running in remote, rural, regional and metropolitan communities including central schools, K-12, schools for special purpose, primary and secondary schools. In total 24 schools are participating including a STEM cluster of five Northern Rivers schools. From Bourke to Narooma, young people are making change in their communities by creating a social enterprise to donate their profits to their nominated social cause or charity.

Providing project management and facilitation services within the Giving Connect team. The work helps philanthropy and for purpose organisations (including social enterprises and charities) understand, plan, measure and raise capital to achieve their impact support foundations and grant recipients with project management services, facilitation, writing and evaluation.

As a member of the Global Facilitator Network with the Social Enterprise Academy, facilitating the delivery of online and in person programs from including understanding social enterprise through to leadership.

I established Turnstone Projects to support organisations and communities with project management and facilitation services in education, employment and enterprise. This focus is also our social purpose: to help people have fair and reasonable access to opportunities. Turnstone Projects is a certified social enterprise with Social Traders and People and Planet First.

Working with students in Stages 4 and 5 as a classroom teacher in Agriculture, supporting the show teams and connecting student actions on the farm within the UN Sustainable Development Goals.

Contracted to design, trial and evaluate a bespoke program to enable a more confident and engaged learner to re-emerge. The program was to meet all the elements of a quality education, the NSW Stage 4 (Year 7 and 8) curriculum key learning areas and implement a selected online brain training program. As part of the program, students became social entrepreneurs donating 100% of their profits to social causes important to them along with learning the sport of fencing and coaching and wellbeing activities. Attendance increased as did executive functioning and students reported a more positive outlook and achieved a grade point average of 4.0 (out of 5.0). In 2023 the T Centre was recognised in the NSW Minister's and Secretary's Education Awards as an Outstanding School Initiative.

As an Associate with Philanthropy Australia I provide project management, research and fundraising support to organisations from across Australia. Organisations connect through the organisation or independently and an agreed scope of works and tasks are jointly decided.

My work with Invest Australia was to assist multinational resource-based companies and regional communities across Australia to realise investment and employment creation and to prepare two investment guides. I researched and wrote Making A Case: Investment Potential in the Upper Spencer Gulf living in The Upper Spencer Gulf in South Australia and then following widespread interest, prepared a detailed guide for communities to develop their own investment potential, Inside Intelligence.

My role was to support rural families and the community of Cobar and surrounding region with business development opportunities. This included creating micro investment diversification projects and helping bring enabling technologies to encourage education and capacity building.

Project support to the Bookmark Biosphere project in the Riverland of South Australia. Activities included helping build relationships with the pastoral station neighbours to the Bookmark project, a UNESCO site, running workshops and training programs to address common issues and create opportunities for integration.

Working with the International Wool Secretariat, my role was to coordinate and deliver international training programs to inform and develop skills of processors of Australian wool to maximise mill productivity and encourage preference for Australian wool.
