Supporting Taronga Ventures by embedding ESG practices into our investment framework, overseeing and administering Responsible Investment approaches, supporting operational and portfolio company practices, as well as delivering ESG and innovation advisory to the industry.

Responsible for developing and implementing a clear sustainability and ESG strategy, leading the sustainability team of ~15 advisors. Our team are responsible for driving accountability and embedding sustainability practices across C&W operations and client portfolios.

In my role with C&W I lead our Strategic Client Advisory service line. My teams work focuses on embedding sustainability and ESG principles and practices into business operations to realise improved business reputation. My extensive working knowledge of sustainability principles and how they interact with business and investment objectives has been developed by working as a client advocate and embedded resource across property, financial and insurance, government and manufacturing industries. Key Achievements:• Chaired and executed the inaugural C&W ANZ Sustainability Strategy and Working group, including developing and rolling out employee engagement programs to achieve behaviour change• Transitioned a client from red SLAs to consistent Green SLAs with special commendation• Nominated by clients, and awarded the CitySwitch Sustainability Champion Hall of Fame award 2018Responsibilities:• Provide management oversight and coordination of the strategy team, in line with business goals and objectives• Build meaningful and beneficial relationships with internal stakeholders, clients and external parties including regulatory bodies• Ensure clients are kept abreast of market changes and issues• Support delivery of strategic and client advisory work to all clients by applying sustainability and responsible business principles to achieve reputational uplift• Engage with the wider business to expand sustainability solutions services and ensure sustainable solutions are offered to all business wide clients• Provide SME advice and guidance on PPAs, carbon and environmental efficiency in the built environment to Cushman & Wakefield clients across Australia• Project manage efficiency initiatives from conception, design to roll out and performance verification.• Define, develop, and roll out the team vision • Develop and maintain strategic alliances within C&W, with prospective clients and market partners to ensure business success

As a Senior Consultant with ACCSR I advised and supported clients to improve their reputation through better business practices. This included GRI and Integrated reporting, ESG and climate change risk advisory and general CSR improvement projects. I previously held the position of Co-Convenor for the UNAA Victorian Young Professionals. Further to this, I sat on the UNAAV board, working closely with the national board to drive change and realise their goals and objectives. Our primary purpose was to raise awareness about the UN and its work and engage the Australian community on key issues on the UN agenda. We played a critical role in connecting Australians with the United Nations and educating the community on key international and local environmental, human rights and social justice issues. United Nations Associations represent a vital link between the United Nations and citizens of its member states. In Australia, the Association is represented in every state and territory through its divisions and national body. The divisions work together to campaign in support of the UN and its current priorities such as the Millennium Development Goals, human rights, gender equality, the environment, global health, sustainable development, peace and security.I also support the Climate Change program, having delivered the 2017 Climate Change Collaboration Forum in Melbourne. In this role I am also helping the board develop a discussion and recommendations paper to map Australia's path to Net Zero in 2050, with a focus on inter-sectorial collaboration.
