Full time outpatient therapist responsible for evaluation and subsequent treatment of a multitude of neurological diagnoses including cerebral vascular accidents, traumatic brain injuries, complete/incomplete spinal cord injuries, polytrauma orthopedic injuries, multiple sclerosis, Parkinson’s disease, brachial plexus injuries, and functional visual deficits. Highly practiced in specialized functional visual evaluation and treatment for adolescents/adults following mild traumatic brain injuries and post-concussion syndrome; including a collaborative multidisciplinary approach to facilitate return to school/work Pioneered the inauguration of the outpatient occupational therapy program at Concordville satellite campus through the implementation of technologies, advancement of community referral sources, and assurance of a continuity of care plan Designated subject matter expert and primary internal educator for EMR technology transitions including Raintree and EPIC. Created and designed training manuals and competencies for best practice, to ensure adherence to Medicare and accreditation services multi-disciplinary guidelines. Designated Super User and Principal Educator for onboard training for the following: EPIC, FES Cycle, XCite, NMES, VTS-4, Dynavision, H200, and Smart Home Technology. Process Improvement committee member focused on maximizing therapist efficiency and patient centered care through time studies, root cause analyses, and standardization of methodologies; ensured change management and organizational success through feasibility testing Demonstrating operational leadership skills through creation of employee onboarding resources, training of new hires, mentoring of inpatient therapists, creating standardized bowel and bladder resources for cross continuum of care SCI education, and achieving Clinical Ladder level III (2017, 2018, 2019, 2020).
