In this role, I am leading the delivery of Social Value projects for key construction clients. These projects are designed to significantly uplift the capability and capacity of their social value programs and policies (including Local Jobs First, Social Procurement, Building Equality Policy and the Fair Jobs Code) to win more government work.

I provide strategic advice to the SocialPro board to support the development of its social procurement reporting software to the Victorian market. I advise on strategic direction, sector intelligence and partnership development.

I co-founded and continue to lead the Social Procurement Network, a practitioner-led and volunteer run network. We aim to bring together social procurement professionals to build lasting connections, knowledge share and innovate to develop the sector.

I managed the Footscray Connectivity Centre, a place-based initiative to activate social procurement on the New Footscray Hospital. The Footscray Hospital is a $1.5 billion state government investment which applies the Local Jobs First (LJF) policy including the Major Project Skills Guarantee (MPSG) and the Social Procurement Framework. The Footscray Connectivity Centre ensures delivery of these policies on the project.

In this role, I managed a Social Procurement Program that aimed to help businesses optimise their social and sustainable impact on projects. This included delivering new services for the Building Equality Policy. I advised on key changes to improve social procurement reporting and presented to Government on market trends and opportunities. I built strong business relationships with companies, intermediaries and social benefit suppliers in the sector to maximise impact. I also chaired ICN’s national Social Procurement working group.

In this role I developed a new strategy for ICN Victoria's Social Procurement Program and provided strategic advice for government and industry’s application of the Social Procurement Framework.

In this role I led a team to ensure effective and efficient application of the Local Jobs First policy on government procurements. The team was able to provide specific and timely advice to Government and industry to maximise local employment opportunities on major projects.
