Working with diverse stakeholders, provide leadership, direction, and vision for the Career Development & Alumni Engagement programs serving 1k+ graduate students & 2k+ alumni in tech leadership/ entrepreneurship, engineering, data science, ux design, ux research, product management -- and everything in between. Manage four dedicated career advisors to form strategic career connections (employer relations) and provide career coaching, job search insight, and technical industry expertise. Deliver opportunities for exploring potential career paths, including a robust mentorship program with annual “outstanding mentor” award event (coordinated in partnership with student affairs). Partner with Communications Director to lead digital communications in engaging our alumni-student community, attracting high-profile employers and diverse prospective students. Includes monthly e-newsletter with 50%+ open rate, social media presence (instagram, LinkedIn, slack), and annual digital magazine.Partner with Student Affairs in onboarding activities for students (virtual + in-person), academic and student conduct advising, curriculum planning, and student life & leadership. In the past, served as co-leader for "immersion," a multi-day conference for graduate students featuring technical skill-building, leadership, and career content. Provide professional development for students and alumni in diversity, equity, inclusion, and belonging, with a goal of holding space for learning/sharing experiences and empowering our community to be leaders in DEIB.

Secured grant funding launching a pilot Leadership Development Program (LDP) for Fall 2021, and secured corporate/departmental funding for subsequent years. Designed and launched a sustainable LDP for Gender Equity, enhancing the skills and capabilities of diverse leaders and fostering strategies and conversations to break down gender and identity-related barriers. The goal of the LDP is to increase the advancement of women and non-binary students in technology leadership roles by providing an environment that affirms and reflects intersectional experiences. Currently serve as co-facilitator for this program which includes monthly workshops, self-assessments, employer connections, 1:1 mentorship with industry leaders, small group peer mentorship, and service learning. Workshops focus on facilitating conversations around barriers and strategies in leadership, including: self-advocacy, negotiation, personal branding, leadership vision/strategy, managing conflict, fostering equity & inclusion, and more.

Manage and mentor a team of dedicated professionals, providing guidance and support to ensure the successful execution of career and leadership development initiatives. Provide continual program assessment to evaluate student needs and launch new offerings including video resources on career development topics, community platforms for alumni & student connections (Graduway, Slack), usage of partner/vendor platforms such as JobScan, and mentorship programs for our MIMS & 5YMIDS students and annual "outstanding mentor awards."Embedded principles of diversity, equity, inclusion, and belonging (DEIB) throughout career development program offerings. Launched and reported results from first-ever school-wide inclusion & belonging survey to help understand the school's climate and identify focus areas to ensure a welcoming learning, working, and research environment for all.Partnered with stakeholders to revitalize alumni relations. Created strategic plan for alumni relations, including: regular communications (e.g., newsletters, Slack, website, digital magazine, post mail campaign), virtual events, in-person meet-ups (New York, Seattle, Washington DC, Bay Area, Denver), conference attendance, swag, and more! Developed/launched program to onboard students into alumni status.During the pandemic, transitioned offerings to virtual format and scaled programs as student/alumni populations increased in a challenging environment.

Built Career Services program from serving 100 students with 50% FTE, to serving >1000 students with 3 FTE. Created career advising / coaching services for students and alumni, providing training, resources, and support. Fostered an environment where students and alumni were encouraged to embrace challenges, learn from failures, and seek continuous improvement.Tracked career outcomes to inform program development and produce annual public reports used in marketing, recruiting, and more. Created alumni database (CRM) to track volunteering, job placement, industry placement, geographic location, and more.Developed annual events engaging students, alumni, and employers around career development and job/internship placements. In partnership with other teams, developed robust onboarding programs including assessments for continual improvement.Launched virtual and in-person workshop series on popular career development topics as well as "on demand" resources for self-paced learning.Created website presence for students & employers as well as an active job board and resume book distribution. Partnered with outside vendors and managed strategic relationship across campus, including with other professional development schools. Launched events in partnership with other UC Berkeley stakeholders including the annual Startup Networking Night with Berkeley Haas.

Served as lead for outdoor air and water quality for UC Berkeley campus. Managed relationships with internal partners (including physical plant / facilities & operations, real estate development, construction, laboratories) and external stakeholders (city, state, and national partners - including Environmental Protection Agency, Bay Area Air Quality Management District).Created programs utilized by 100s of staff members to ensure compliance with regional, state, and federal regulations. Developed and managed interactive training modules for program implementation. Engaged diverse stakeholders to ensure ongoing success and maintenance of program initiatives.Consulted in sustainability and climate change initiatives involving existing building operations & maintenance as well as and LEED certification. Was awarded multiple grants for climate change initiatives.

Conducted needs assessment to launch new professional development and career services program for School of Optometry.
