About Rebecca Keane

I completed the BA( Hons) degree in Social Care Work in Limerick Institute of Technology with a Second Class Honours Grade 1 Degree in 2018. I successfully completed two very beneficial work placements. The first placement was in Cairdeas Autism Unit in St. Finnachta's National School and the second was with the Brothers of Charity, where I gained a lot of experience supporting service-users with intellectual disabilities. I am a very hardworking and reliable person. I am really passionate about the area of Social Care Work. I would describe myself as positive and honest in my work. I have found that I work well on my own and also as part of a team. I enjoy setting myself new challenges . I have an interest in sports also and have spent several years volunteering with underage camogie teams within my village. This has helped me to improve some of my communication and organisational skills.
