I am responsible for developing mutually beneficial relationships with customers across campus and local businesses. I work hard to ensure the best quality customer experience when working with University Tees. I facilitate each order by helping with the design, ordering, and delivery processes. I worked closely with my fellow campus managers in maintaining our social media and creating a united front for University Tees at Texas Tech University. I joined University Tees in the middle of this ongoing COVID-19 pandemic in which we had to learn new ways to sell and grow our business. I gained great skills in written communication and conducting meetings on virtual platforms. Successes include sales totaling over $100,000, being named highest-selling Campus Manager for consecutive weeks, and creating relationships with a multitude of clients with whom we were unable to work with in the past.

As an account coordinator, I organize and keep media hit lists up-to-date, as well as build these media lists based on new clients' location and customer base. I am proficient in using the PR software Cision to help build these lists and pitch to local and national media. I also create and distribute brand pitch emails and press releases for our clients when media attention is needed. Along with all the brand pitching, I create social media content for various clients and schedule through the software company Hootsuite. When working with a new client or I also help identify their brand needs through research and analysis.Starting at Razonia McClellan as an intern has been a career altering experience. It ignited my passion for Public Relations and has helped me recognize all the potential I have within the industry. Being promoted from intern to Account Coordinator showed me the talent I have for the industry and I work every day to make the firm the best it can be. Working at a small firm in West Texas is a special experience because I have learned how to fight for clients and with not all the resources in the world, there have been many times in which I have had to get creative in order to find solutions.

In this role, I am head of all Student Government social media platforms, content and social strategy. I assist the Student Body President and Chief of Staff in drafting speeches and monthly emails addressing the student body. When SGA hosts events, it is my duty to publicize those and to gain coverage from local media outlets. I must also find unique and inventive ways to engage the student body and spread brand awareness for the Student Government Association.
