Within the audit team, I was responsible for planning and conducting the audits of our clients, and overseeing junior members of the team including the initial review of their work.Within the accounts team, I was responsible for preparing the financial statements of companies as well as their annual tax return. I also prepared accounts and tax returns for sole traders and partnerships.

Responsible for conducting various testing on the financial statements of companies, to include organisation of work, planning of testing, supervising junior members and reporting to team managers.

Part-time bar work alongside my studies during my final year at University. I loved this bar - great place to work, great food, and most importantly great ales!

A 4.5 month secondment to the finance team responsible for the German franchises during my placement year at Deloitte. I gained experience in both bookkeeping and the preparation of management accounts while working with international colleagues and notable suppliers.

A one year industrial placement (internship) as part of my degree at Loughborough University. My role was primarily to assist the audit team on engagements at client sites by the auditing of company financial statements.

Supporting the main teaching staff in whatever they required, including administrative tasks, preparatory tasks, and the supervising of children.

Working in the assurance department, this position included translation work, research on companies, writing short company profiles and longer reports, general administrative tasks, and the formatting of presentations and word documents using the MS Office suite.
