- Managed a portfolio of corporate, foundation and government grant prospects; conducted prospect research to identify new funding opportunities in alignment with Conservatory mission and funding needs- Crafted effective grant proposals in collaboration with Community Outreach, Exhibitions and Horticulture staff - Administered awarded grants, including preparing and submitting reports- Worked with the CEO and Vice President of Philanthropy to strengthen the relationship between the Conservatory and government officials; coordinated city, county and state government funding- Secured over $500,000 in grant funding in the first nine months in the position, including $90,000 from first-time funders

- Created and implemented a global outreach strategy encouraging US students studying abroad to register to vote, and request and submit their overseas ballots in the 2018 US midterm elections- Recruited, trained and led a team of over 60 volunteers in 25 countries in the planning and execution of local study abroad voter registration campaigns- Designed campaign materials and communications; developed call scripts

- Planned and executed a multi-channel annual giving campaign focused on growing individual support and creating a pipeline of leadership and major gift prospects- Managed the creation of fundraising marketing materials; worked with Marketing and Development staff, consultants and design firms to draft, design, edit and deliver materials- Identified grant opportunities in alignment with library funding needs; collaborated with public services staff to develop effective grant proposals; administered awarded grants; prepared and submitted grant reports- Created personalized capital campaign proposals for over $17 million in targeted asks to corporations, organizations and individuals; resulted in almost $14 million committed to library capital projects- Secured over $400,000 in grant funding over two years, including a $250,000 National Leadership Grant from the Institute of Museum and Library Services- Planned and executed the library’s first Staff Campaign; raised $175,000 from 94% of staff across 22 locations- Served as grant administrator of an Institute of Museum and Library Services and MacArthur Foundation planning grant awarded jointly to Columbus Metropolitan Library, Columbus Museum of Art, COSI Center of Science and Industry, WOSU Public Media and Wexner Center for the Arts which resulted in the creation of Surge Columbus: A Creative Circuit for Youth; served on the Core Team managing Surge Columbus

- Managed multichannel annual giving fundraising communications including conceptualization, writing, editing, design, print coordination, data creation and analysis; worked with both internal Marketing and Communications team and external design and print vendors to create and deliver on-brand materials- Managed the Parents Fund; implemented targeted messaging and aggressive solicitation strategy resulting in a 42% increase in donors and a 63% increase in dollars raised over two years - Established a Parents Leadership Council; in its first year 18 families joined and contributed over $50,000- Conducted visits with leadership annual giving prospects to solicit gifts of $1,000 - $10,000; qualified leadership annual donors for major giving potential; recruited and trained fundraising volunteers - Drafted solicitations on behalf of the University President, vice presidents and faculty, parents and students- Managed the Phonathon Coordinator; provided guidance in the creation and implementation of phonathon segmentation and strategy
