Enthusiastic and ready to face the world with my journalism degree, I started my career as a Police Reporter in central Illinois. Just a few days in, there was a murder in this small town. In talking to grieving families, interviewing the state's attorney, and defense teams, I went from a recent college grad to a trusted source of truth in the blink of an eye. I would cover seven murder trials in only 11 months, learning an invaluable lesson on the importance of empathy and active listening. After that job, I realized I enjoyed storytelling and transitioned into marketing...then sales...and revenue operations...gradually developing deep expertise in all revenue-responsible functions that would prepare me for my recent roles overseeing the entire customer lifecycle from lead acquisition to ongoing retention and expansion. I've spent the bulk of my career leaning in as an empathetic change agent, solving complex problems to help organizations scale. And thankfully, I've amassed a network of experts across all disciplines to help me accomplish just that. Throughout my career, I’ve had the opportunity to transition a commodity-based business to a highly sought-after multi-million solution, closing some of the biggest deals in the company's history. And building a global brand and GTM machine to scale solutions to the world's most admired enterprise brands. My passions are rooted in defining the GTM strategy, rebuilding systems, processes, tools, and the organization to scale the business. As a revenue leader, my job is to ensure we have a clear path towards achieving (and crushing) our targets and removing the obstacles to getting that done. That includes alignment throughout the entire customer journey, breaking down traditional silos, and having customer-centered funnel conversations that focus on acquisition all the way through retention and expansion. That starts with an objective understanding of the people, processes, systems and tools required at that stage to support growth. While also building a culture deeply rooted in "winning together" across all revenue functions.Lastly, community is important to me in every way—both in my work and in my personal life. As a cancer survivor, I actively fundraise for the American Cancer Society, which I'm proud to share has raised more than $100k in donations. And I am a chairperson of our local Relay for Life.I'm a wife to an incredible husband who is the yin to my yang, and together we are raising two children who bring me joy and make me laugh in ways I've never imagined.
