Joined Insurity through an acquisition, where we successfully navigated the integration of my product into the larger organization. My responsibilities expanded to encompass all of Insurity's analytics products. Following the acquisition of another geospatial platform, I played a key role in shaping internal and external messaging and defining a strategic path to unify the offerings between the products. I collaborated closely with the sales team, contributing to team building and training efforts, supporting sales conversations and product demonstrations, and facilitating the onboarding of new accounts.

As Director, Product Adoption, I’m keenly focused on bringing SpatialKey’s product vision to life to increase customer adoption of our industry-leading SaaS solutions. I work directly with customers and prospects to understand their use-cases and workflows to inform SpatialKey’s product roadmap. My role is a hybrid of sales, account management, and product management, giving me a full view of what the marketplace is looking for and informing our development teams about how we can answer that call. I directly contribute to SpatialKey’s success by getting our products in customer’s hands and using their feedback to continually inform our product strategy.

Lead product manager for multiple product releases. Owned product requirements, advised user experience team on client workflows, worked with Development and QA teams to validate implementation and detailed test cases, and worked with documentation to supplement product rollout with detailed documentation and videos. Assisted internal training team with development of client specific training plans. Defined usability test goals to perform internal and external usability testing for new software platform. Worked with client throughout product lifecycle to ensure products are functional, intuitive and easy to use. As a subject matter expert, applied my understanding of client’s business requirements to develop new product applications. Worked with multiple project teams to determine feasibility and priority of requirements and return on investment to steer direction of development for new software platform.

Lead Business Analyst for company-wide data integration project. Completed proof of concept, high level and detailed requirements, created test data, performed vendor analysis, validated requirements with internal clients, and validated requirement feasibility with development. Provided subject matter expertise around business issues, data challenges, and internal and external client perspectives to increase communication and understanding between departments.Worked with QA to determine UAT plan, including regression and negative testing, for platform upgrade and new feature implementation. Performed a detailed GAP analysis for platform upgrade.

Supported client’s annual renewal by helping them understand their potential catastrophe losses, enabling them to make educated decisions on how much reinsurance coverage they needed based on their risk appetite. In addition to client-facing work, I mentored new employees, initiated a training program for new hires, and initiated our departments first college-recruiting program. Additionally, I tested new internally developed analytical software, defined client specific requirements, and lead training modules for onsite client training.
