Certified Youth Mental Health First Aid trainer. Delivered over 50 8-hour Youth Mental Health First Aid classes over 3 years, training over 500 people. Recruited and trained 8 diverse, community-based Youth Mental Health First Aid instructors, and supported them in their development to enable them to continue to deliver the training after the end of the grant. Conducted numerous speaking events, radio interviews, press interviews, community awareness events, and supplemental training to a wide variety of participants including juvenile court workers, children's services workers, mental health professionals, legal professionals, teachers, school nurses and counselors, parents, grandparents, foster parents, pastors and other faith-based leaders.
