In my position of Course Code Management Specialist, I analyze, manage, and maintain the Denver Public School master course catalog - including all attached course attributes; content area, amount of credit, credit type, rigor, as well as State Standard Course Code equivalents, concurrent enrollment equivalents, math and English competencies, etc. I provide support across the district to multiple stakeholders in all things related to course information. I work to promote district initiatives, fosters cross departmental collaboration, and support district procedures/best practices.

As the Interim Lead Transcript Specialist, I am responsible for developing, implementing, and communicating consistent processes regarding transcripts for Denver Public Schools students. I support and train staff district wide on reviewing, processing coding, and inputting course data into Infinite Campus, as well as provide guidance and training regarding graduation requirements and scheduling best practices. I serve as the main point of contact for all district-run high schools, pathway schools, as well as charter high schools for all transcript related questions. I communicate regularly across schools and departments regarding student records and scheduling to ensure students are on-track to graduate and records are accurate.

Provide support for the following departments:Transcript and Course Code Support Team- Worked with District Transcript Support Specialist to develop training materials for yearly transcript training. Entered transcript information for schools needing additional transcript support. Researched abnormal transcript issues to resolve issues to insure integrity of DPS transcripts. Assisted the Course Code Management Specialist in collecting and entering syllabi into the district Syllabi Repository.Student Submissions Team- Collected, reviewed, and processed documentation for the October Count Audit. Contacted and worked with various shareholders to ensure the proper documentation was collected in a timely manner to submit to the CDE auditor. Worked under tight deadlines to review collected document met CDE guidelines for adequate documentation. Developed a deeper understanding of policies and guidelines pertaining to CDE submissions. Provided feedback and ideas for process improvements for the October Count internal audit. Served as the Local Area Manager for DPS for the CDE Pipeline and assisted DPS employees in resolving issues related to the Pipeline.Data Quality Team—Reviewed and processed Adequate Documentation for students leaving the DPS school district. Ensured documentation was sufficient for End Of Year submission and audit. Followed up with schools to inform them when the document was missing information and gave guidance to those needing extra support in collecting information for the documentation.General Department Support—Processed payroll for departments and ordered supplies.

Responsible for inputting transcript data into Infinite Campus for incoming high school transfer students from other districts. Processes transcripts for incoming DPS transfer students with a high degree of efficiency and accuracy. Provides transcript data entry support to schools. Uses Infinite Campus to enter transcripts. Updates data and data quality issues as needed, with assistance from the Data Quality Team. Maintains the integrity and confidentiality of all data.

Provide Denver Public Schools with technical support for Infinite Campus, ensuring integrity and timely completion of enrollment and student demographic data entry. Including, but not limited to, creating new people profiles, enrollment, household building, and updated contact information.

Assisted in day to day help with an Alzheimer's patient, including help with meals and interacting socially with patient.
