Head of the global supply chain data management team, comprised of 35 internal employees & 46 contractors located in 9 countries, which govern the data processes required to launch and supply products globally ($15B in annual sales). Responsible for implementing project & process enhancements to improve data quality, timeliness, cost, and effort across the supply chain while maintaining a regulated & compliant data environment.

- Responsible for developing and implementing a remediation plan for the 480,000 sq-ft facility which is the global hub for the Ethicon and Cardiovascular & Specialty Solutions businesses. The site ships ~$12B of life saving medical supplies to partners around the globe annually.- Stabilized the daily inbound operations: (1) Improved the Dock to Stock KPI from an average of 67% to consistent performance at 98+%. (2) Decreased backorder dollars associated to inbounding delays from $1.5MM to $0. (3) Increased daily put away efficiency by 27.5%. (4) Drove end to end tradeoff assessments leading to load quality improvements from the sending sites.- Sponsored system enhancements which eliminated 41% of total moves to virtual inventory, representing ~$17MM in potential COGS impact.- Mitigated Space Constraints from the slowdown in surgeries due to the coronavirus pandemic.

- Responsible for all deliver functions of the newly acquired Zarbee's Naturals business including order management ($140MM annual sales), distribution ($30MM on hand inventory), transportation ($5.5MM annual freight spend), & trade customization during 40% business growth.- Orchestrated the transition from the previous 3PL provider in UT to a new provider in IN in under 6 months to protect the 2019 peak season, enable future growth, & to institute an improved level of quality control. - Negotiated 3 contracts, developed concept of operations, created an inventory transition & nonintegrated receiving strategy to prevent customer impact, notification / retention / termination of previous provider, systems integrations & testing, and successful startup on time and under budget.- Enabled the first ever international Zarbee’s lane (FTZ China), 7 months ahead of schedule.

Strategic Project & Portfolio Management- Established and led a new strategic portfolio governance process. Developed an existing tool (Cascade) to digitize the portfolio allowing transparency to status, risks, & strategic decision-making needs.- Redeveloped a 2-year road map to reduce COGS 30% for Animas pumps. Enabled portfolio prioritization by introducing NPV, factoring in project complexity & resource constraints. - Delivered 21% COGS reduction in the first year, representing $1.9MM in savings.- Completed controlled storage assessments for all 42 Vision Care sites globally, gained alignment & funding to implemented a validated environmental monitoring system at 5 strategic locations (2-US, 2-EMEA 1-ASPAC) for proactive risk mitigation.Performance Management- Led the move away from time consuming manual reports to online analytics capabilities (Qlik), enabling timely, data driven decisions, and proactive portfolio management. Delivered 18 agile sprints.- Incorporated acquired businesses into the portfolio (Instantis) & performance (Metric Studio) systems.- Revitalized performance management capabilities resulting in an 9-day cycle time reduction. Business Development- Partnered with J&J Design to create an aspirational future supply chain video highlighting how J&J Vision can meet the changing needs of our patients throughout their lifetime of care.- Devised a Faster Forward strategy to increase segment engagement and benefits realization. - Spearheaded a diverse group of 21 high potential employees (STAR 8 Action Learning Team) to deliver 2 innovative solutions that will directly contribute to J&J’s 2020 sustainability goals. - Identified & championed a solution that will dramatically reduce the amount of viable product J&J destroys due to tertiary packaging damage. Designed and deployed a transformational, cross-sector, global SAP solution for Transportation and Trade Compliance in Brazil & Mexico.Implemented SAP Global Trade Services (GTS), a new tool to J&J, to significantly close existing compliance gaps, reduce J&J’s risk profile and address audit concerns.
