Profile bio

About Rebecca Miceli, Ph.D.

I am passionate about research, leadership, and making a difference in people's lives. I love working on ground breaking, and fast-paced projects. I'm good with deadlines, organized chaos, and love cross-disciplinary teamwork. I am a medicinal chemist and cancer biologist (PhD from RPI '23), and gained additional research experience working as a postdoc at Mount Sinai (bioinformatics, genomics) and at Rensselaer (tissue engineering, circadian rhythms). While researching, I picked up a part-time industry position at Probably Genetic is a programs specialist. We use AI and machine learning to identify patients with rare disease and connect them to free genetic testing and patient resources. In the future, I am hoping to combine my love for drug discovery, human biology, & bioinformatics to make an impact on the future of personalized and translational human medicine.
