If you’re mentally thinking yes or nodding at your phone, you’re not alone (which might seem odd to those around you if you are in fact, nodding at your phone). I’ve had clients tell me they’ve been working on their home design for YEARS before they finally realized it might be time to call in a professional for some help. YEARS...plural. My goal as your designer is to help you identify and define your own personal interior design style and then IMPLEMENT that design, usually in weeks or months (but never years). I’m a do-er, as they say, and once I get a feel for what’s going to get you really excited to host dinner parties, there’s no stopping the design wheels from turning in my head. We will work together from design concept to budgeting to scheduling contractors to get your home design or renovation plans turned into a home that reflects YOU! Do you have a hard time envisioning what something will look like after it’s done? And then totally freak out b/c you don’t want to make the wrong choice, effectively making no choice? Yeah, I’ve had plenty of those clients too. I use 3D models to show my clients what their room/home/office will look like before the first swatch of paint is taped to the walls so the anxiety and guesswork that comes with the unknown can be avoided (or at least turned down a couple notches). Pretty cool right?I bet you’re wondering where I acquired all the mad skillz! I have a degree in architecture from Texas A&M University, worked in 2 commercial architecture firms for a combined 10 years and spent 4 years at a home staging company helping folks get their homes ready to sell. I also furnished model homes for builders. LOTS of them. I’ve been fortunate to build a pretty awesome set of design skills and I love working with fun, down-to-earth clients that want a not only great looking but well functioning home or office space.
