Responsible for the design of transmission line structures including planning, design and construction specification creation. Specialized in new steel pole construction and the design of wood pole replacement solutions for existing transmission lines and foundation design.

Evaluated the performance of asphalt mixtures for low temperature applications. Generated a discrete element numerical model using PFC3D to simulate the semi-circular bending test experiment of asphalt mixtures with varying amounts of additives. Performed experiments for calibration and validation of the material parameters used in the numerical model. Thesis: “Discrete Element Modeling of Fracture of GNP reinforced asphalt mixtures at low temperatures." Research resulted in the publication "Use of fine aggregate matrix for computational modeling of low temperature fracture of asphalt concrete" in Materials and Structures.

Worked with a team of architects and structural engineers to produce drawings in AutoCAD and Revit. Presented on IBC and OSHA building code updates. Assisted in selecting finishes for the renovation of a brewery.

Participated in research in the field of Noisy-Light Spectroscopy, resulting in publication “Two-Dimensional Electronic Spectroscopy Using Incoherent Light: Theoretical Analysis." Research experience involves individual work and collaboration with on-site and remote faculty and students. Primary focus on interpreting theoretical mathematical integrations depicting experimental results and conveying research ideas and results through small audience poster sessions and large audience multi-media presentations.
