•Lead Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) activities for all Holcim (US) operations with nine cement plants, three cement slag operations and over 50 terminals. •Meet with community members annually to discuss community concerns. o Work with communities to provide education on social and environmental effects of operations and develop action plans for communicating to a broader group of local residents.•Develop external communications to strengthen and build relationships with non-profits, local government and citizens. o Partner with organizations to provide over 2,000 volunteer hours per year on educational training for school age children. •Create tools to ensure consistency for all CSR projects. •Developed and rolled out CSR strategy for Holcim (US) operations. Strategy included materiality matrix evaluations for all 12 plants and community specific communications plans for each operation. •Work with employees to build capacity for sustainable development issues including economic, environmental and social priorities. •Write and design annually distributed “Community Post” for nine cement plants. o Over the last three years over 400,000 homes have received this communication. •Complete globally required human rights assessment for US cement operations and aggregate businesses. o This includes prioritization and planning for identified human rights issues.

Geocycle manages the alternative fuels and raw materials used in the cement making process.•Worked with local government officials and advocacy groups on legislation impacting state level waste solutions. o Influenced legislation in Colorado that encourages the proper disposal of over one million waste tires annually. • Lead creative development of print advertising campaign to reach target markets and compete with other waste solutions companies. • Lead and managed direct marketing campaign that directly addressed our customer service successes and challenges in some of our most competitive markets. • Developed marketing collateral as a first effort for Geocycle (US) in order to build the brand.
