Lead SDET IV on team working with Java backend services responsible for adaptive engine logic. Owns test planning, testing, release and maintenance of features. Responsible for all areas of testing including: functional, regression, boundary/negative testing, usability, scalability, database impacts, etc. - Manages and mentors team of SDETs. Responsible for representing QA in requirements gathering, design discussions, collaborating closely with product management, developers, UI/UX, devops and other teams as needed.- Working with AWS services including: S3, EC2, Redis, Kinesis.

Responsible for representing QA in requirements gathering, design discussions, collaborating closely with product management, developers, UI/UX, devops and other teams as needed.- In 2019 was technical lead for high priority project rolling out nationwide academic standards alignments (scaling existing data nearly 3-fold) while maintaining data integrity and minimizing performance impacts. Project was delivered successfully, a month ahead of schedule and with high quality.- Working with AWS services including: S3, EC2, Redis, Kinesis.

- Full stack SDET responsible for testing RESTful services through entire SDLC process, delivering on time and with high quality bar. Worked on a wide variety of projects from front end feature development, data anonymization, and adapting internal tools to ingest 3rd party school roster data. - Managed and coordinated cross-team releases- Maintained and troubleshot preproduction test environments- Wrote and maintained automated API test suites in in-house Ruby on Rails application

Ex Libris at this time was part of ProQuest- Maintained and developed software performing content ingestion and data cleaning for various products focusing on high priority and problematic content. - Worked on multiple areas of the ProQuest/Ex Libris integration- Selected to be on development team improving deploy process, with focus on the Summon Solr search stack.

- As the Subject Matter Expert, helped lead the effort to integrate the Kapow Katalyst web crawling framework into the acquisition stack for ProQuest Workflow Solutions, from initial prototype through production release, including the training of the operations team.- Maintained and developed software performing content ingestion and data cleaning for various products.- Configured new sources for ProQuest’s library discovery service, Summon, assisting in the scaling of the index from 1.8 to 2.5 billion records.

- Part of a team that built a new end-to-end content management pipeline using new technology & scrum/agile project management to transform data for ingest into products.- Used Kapow Katalyst Design Studio and Informatica to develop acquisition, mapping, and transform flows to add content to product, migrate content to new manufacturing methods, and perform break/fix analysis and repair- Drove changes in functionality as required and represent the Content Development area in key product, project and system initiatives- Trained staff in tools, methods, and processes- Facilitated problem solving, collaboration, process improvement, and information management

- Responsible for creating and updating filter specifications. Created content ingest robots using Kapow Katalyst Design Studio for harvesting content from web pages. Worked cross-departmentally and with providers to resolve issues in the best interest of the customer. Trained coworkers and new hires on new systems. - One of only roughly 25 ProQuest employees to participate in the Sim-I-Tri Business Leadership Training Simulation and continue on to form the Action Learning Team which worked on cross-departmental projects to identify and improve internal processes.

- Monitored reports and ProQuest database to detect and acquire missing content. - Identifies and reports problems to provider and internal departments. Escalates issues as needed to the appropriate group and follows up until resolution.

- Reviewed and edited electronic data from a variety of publications, including many high-priority customers requiring special processing, while maintaining a high level of accuracy and currency. - Exceeded department standards by editing over 100 documents per hour. Identified and reported issues to the appropriate group. - Worked on a variety of archive projects and other special assignments.
