The Honours is a brasserie owned and run by Michelin starred chef Martin Wishart. I worked directly with the owners and the management team to ensure the business was continuously successful and busy. My position was sales driven and key to securing reservations for the brasserie. I controlled all of the social media and the website updates, organised all of the admin, invoices and office equipment as well as being the key receiver of all email and telephone enquiries on a daily basis. I gained a wealth of experience in administrative skills as well as filing, organising and events planning for large parties and business dinners.

Qualia is a five-star resort on the beautiful Hamilton Island in the tropical region of the Whitsunday Islands. Qualia has countless awards for Best Resort in Australia and Best Restaurants in Queensland. Qualia was an incredible place to work and allowed me to get a grasp for how resorts and hotels are run and the high expectation of working in a five-star venue. It was essential to be fully knowledgeable in all aspects of the resort from Guest Services to Housekeeping to the Restaurants. As a Bartender at Qualia, it was important for me to learn everything I could about the food, drinks, the resort itself and how to aid guests with any questions or issues they had regarding the resort or the island whilst providing a five-star service at all times.

Enjoyed by locals and tourists alike, this fantastic busy bar combines subtle lighting and chilled out music with one of the most creative and forward-thinking cocktail menus to create one of the best drinking scenes in the city.My time at Harvey Nichols taught me a lot about providing exceptional service in a fine dining situation but also it was essential to know about events and sales in store in order to be able to discuss all aspects of the store with the customer. I was working to always maintain the highest standard of service and the perfect presentation of all drinks and of myself as an employee. As a bartender I had to maintain a well-run bar and worked to ensure all staff worked to the best of their ability and that we collectively worked to the standards expected.
