The „VDMA-Magazin“ (in German language) is aimed exclusively at VDMA members and offers its readers in 10 issues per year journalistically researched and honestly prepared topics from the perspective of the VDMA members, around 3,300 companies in the mechanical and plant engineering sector. We are not afraid to accept and publish controversial opinions - for a useful and at the same time exciting and entertaining reading.The VDMA magazine was awarded the Fox Awards 2020 Gold and was described by the jury as an exception.It was relaunched in 01/2019 (as the successor of VDMA-Nachrichten) with a modernised design and above all with a completely revised content concept. A reader survey at the beginning of 2019 showed: The new magazine concept is accepted with an overwhelming majority; it enjoys a very high level of acceptance in the target group; the average reading frequency of 7 to 8 copies per year is very high; the readership is very high-ranking and 78% of the readers are executives; however, the magazine offers interesting reading material for all hierarchical levels; the magazine is used across all company sizes; managing directors even pass on their copy to an above-average number of other readers after the reading process
