I’ve had an exciting career journey, but I’m most delighted to be the Director of Product Management for core platform at Genesys. It has been a wild ride beginning with a couple of small start-ups and landing in a global company with thousands of employees worldwide!As a US Army veteran and a recovering English major, I started my career path believing I would be on track for law school. Then a baby came (and then another!) and I took time away before returning to my first love - language - working in social media and content marketing. Always evolving, I leaned into the development track when I discovered my second love - technology. That’s where I was first introduced to front-end design and development.Through close and rewarding relationships with engineers and developers, I worked to earn my tech chops as I gravitated toward R&D with a focus on API development, developer relations, architecture, and DevOps. Today I am so lucky to serve as Director of Product Management for Genesys Cloud's core platform infrastructure and to lead the development of our public APIs, our Identity & Access Management portfolio, a gaggle of tier-zero services, and our hyper-focus on Developer Engagement.Outside of work, I am a passionate reader, runner, and amateur home chef. If you call me on the weekend you'll reach me somewhere off of the NC coast on the boat with my husband, my kids, and my dogs. I enjoy sharing my experience with others through mentoring, speaking engagements, and networking events.
