    Northway is the oldest all-girls summer camp in Canada. We are a family-run wilderness camp for girls, located in Algonquin Park, Ontario Canada. Founded in 1906, Northway offers a traditional program based on our wilderness off-the-grid setting. Campers take part in swimming, sailing, canoeing, kayaking, arts and crafts and dramatics every day. Canoe trips are the most special and loved of all activities. Northway has developed an unmatched style, spirit and skill in canoe tripping.Northway was founded with the idea that girls should learn how to live simply in the outdoors and that the absence of electricity, appliances and luxuries would give campers a wilderness experience that they might draw upon throughout their lives. We try to maintain the idea that in-camp life should be almost as simple as life on a canoe trip.
