Performed administrative duties for the DDA Director, as well as the DDA itself and its subcommittees. Set committee agendas, recorded and published meeting minutes. DDA liaison. Maintained financial records. Analyzed, set, maintained, and reported on various budgets throughout the fiscal year. Fostered and maintained business relationships and economic initiatives that helped sustain and grow the downtown district. Evaluated, negotiated, and oversaw marketing avenues and contracts. Marketed, planned, coordinated, and evaluated special events hosted by the DDA. Processed and oversaw all special event applications within city limits. - Taught two classes- one class with 36 students and the other class with 14 students. - Collaborated with the Dean of the Social Science Department to address student needs, as well as effective teaching techniques; determined course content on a weekly basis; created and often times revised the course syllabus, as needed; researched and kept abreast of developments in the political science field in order to convey that knowledge to my students; prepared and delivered weekly lectures as well as facilitated classroom discussions; continual evaluation and modification of my own methods of instruction to meet the needs of my students; prepared and maintained a record book related to students grades; met and advised with students on their academic progress.

- Attended monthly meetings to discuss and assess agenda items such as local development initiatives, land acquisitions, current projects, and financial reports/portfolio, including monthly assessments of Tax Increment Financing, as well as bonds. Approved minutes from previous month’s meeting. - Member of Transportation Subcommittee. Attended meetings for oversight of a public transportation one-year pilot study. This project involved research, data collection and analysis, problem analysis, and generating reports so that the information can be relayed back to all other DDA board members for final evaluation and action.
