As the Executive Director of Grantwell, I led seven teams managing fundraising, grantmaking, and program evaluation projects, advising on $500,000 in philanthropic funds. The mission of the Grantwell program is to advise philanthropic clients in making informed and impactful funding decisions. As the leader of this organization, I directed strategic planning and mission revision efforts for Grantwell, enhancing alignment and increasing overall impact. I trained and mentored five Senior Project Officers (SPOs), providing leadership and competency development. Additionally, I facilitated large-scale trainings and events, enhancing the skills and engagement of 30 students and volunteers each semester. My leadership ensured the effective management of resources and the successful execution of the organization's mission.

As a Development Assistant, I played a pivotal role in our department's fundraising efforts, assisting in the strategic planning and execution of a multi-million-dollar campaign. l conducted gap analyses to assess financial needs, determine the necessary endowment size, and revised our case for support to effectively communicate our mission. My role also involved creating compelling appeals for principal gift donors and assisting in the solicitation process to secure substantial gifts.

Millions of people are now using donor advised funds (DAFs) for their charitable giving. To better understand how and why people are using DAFs, the Donor Advised Fund Research Collaborative conducted a national survey of DAF donors. This survey aimed to gather data on DAF donor demographics, giving strategies, motivations, and other related topics. As a graduate student, I helped code interviews from professional fundraisers across the United States for this study.

As an intern for the Employment Support Division of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, I helped to improve the key performance indicators of 15 Active Job Search Groups designed to help the unemployed find a job placement within 90 days. A consistent part of my work was developing and dispatching trainings for Employment Specialists. These trainings were designed to improve the mentoring/coaching process utilized for clients that visited the employment centers nationwide. I created trainings on job search engines like LinkedIn, Glassdoor, Indeed that will be utilized by hundreds of Employment Specialists. In addition, I was able to develop hotline for job seekers nationwide. Because of this, we were able to improve our response rate to candidates from 20%-70%. Employment Services now answers more than 500+ monthly calls from individuals seeking Employment help. I developed the onboarding, and training regimen for this new team, and was able to recruit more than 50 specialists to aid us in this new endeavor.

My duties primarily focused on managing company culture in the Deans Office at the Marriott School of Business. My responsibilities included facilitating company events, managing office communications, developing strategies and processes to manage keyrelationships essential to the mission of BYU Marriott School, and create a culture of diversity and inclusion within the business school.

I was the Project Manager for a field-study with PwC. My key responsibilities were to develop and oversee the project timeline with key events, tasks, and deliverables. In addition, I analyzed the competitive landscape for an upcoming case management tool. I conducted internal research with 5 PwC managers. Additionally, I conducted external research on 8 additional competitors and 16 third party competitors. My research lead to the creation of a 3 phase plan that was presented to PwC Partners.
