FGCU International Business and Analytics and Informatics Dual Major | Having grown up in The Bahamas, I am drawn to use computing and analytics skills to improve the operations of global organizations.Experience in: tax preparation as United Way Site Coordinator and Ambassador, higher education teaching as an undergraduate teaching assistant, data management and CRM systems as an operations intern at Ted Todd Insurance Agency, and public service with over 130 hours of service documented at FGCU.Being an international student has equipped me with skills such as persistence and cultural competencies needed to succeed in today's global economy.My passion is centered around helping new immigrants and international students become acquainted with Florida. This is why I volunteer my time as a Global Engagement Office Ambassador where I mentor new international students every fall and participate in various globalization events. I also take pride in being IRS certified to prepare Foreign Student and Scholar taxes through United Way's VITA Initiative. It is my hope that I can help others become a part of a community since when I came here I did not have one.
