I worked with a talented and ambitious group to help improve the education and development in a small town in Costa Rica. My main objective was to commute to a separate town outside of the community where we we based, to help develop a new program for learning. In Brasilito, we started with 3 students pulled in from the playground, and grew the class size to upwards of 20-30 consistent students within 3 months. We taught, English, math, science and art.

I was hired by a professor at East Carolina University to redesign her bedroom and bathroom. As a cancer survivor, she needed her home to be refreshed so that it did not remind her of that time in her life. The space also needed to be completely accessible. I hired a contractor and worked with him and the client to create the bedroom and bathroom of her dreams. The finished product provided the client with two beautiful new spaces that she can enjoy for years to come.

I was hired by an East Carolina University Dean to design renovations for his office.
