About Rebecca S.
I'm passionate about increasing the number of women who pursue careers in the sciences. There are not enough women in STEM fields, especially women of color. To help encourage more girls to pursue careers in the sciences, I co-founded Full STEAM Forward, a STEM + Art based after-school enrichment program for girls of color from underserved communities. Our free, hands-on program works with girls in 3rd through 5th grade to build a passion for the sciences and a desire to pursue a career in a STEM field.
