Rebecca received her undergraduate and graduate education at USC, focusing on public policy, planning and development with an emphasis on social and community development. This lens gives her a unique view of the student housing industry, how it works and how it can work better. Rebecca’s interest in the community level has driven Mosaic’s efforts to connect with both the student community and the neighbors around the university. Through the sponsorship of student organizations, neighborhood information meetings and a coalition with the university’s public safety department, Rebecca has spearheaded ventures to better connect student housing with the university and its surroundings.
