Rebecca Ugo was born in Nigeria, grew up in Scotland, and moved to the United States as a teenager.Making her Feature directorial debut at only 23, Rebecca Ugo’s first film, "No Strings" began as an ultra low budget self funded short film while she was a 22 year-old college student. She turned it into a feature, and with no connections, singlehandedly negotiated the deal for the limited theatrical debut of "No Strings." It premiered in Galaxy Theatres in Austin and Dallas three years ago and is currently streaming on Prime Video, Comcast & Tubi. In the same year, she wrote and directed her second feature film, "Raveland," which received acclaimed reviews following its recent limited theatrical release. Raveland is currently streaming on Prime Video UK, Fandango, Apple TV, Sling TV and more.Yet, what truly sets Rebecca Ugo apart is her innovative approach to filmmaking and storytelling.
