My background was in education prior to diving into the business world, but regardless of the constituents I am working with (college students, business professionals or business owners), I am passionate about providing education and community building opportunities for everyone to achieve their goals. I’ve been working in the business world since 2013 when I started at my local Chamber of Commerce. Over the years my focus has been on connecting business leaders, facilitating learning opportunities, organizing networking events and promoting both personal and professional development. I know just a bit about communicating with multiple groups of people!Once I dipped my toe into the focus of family businesses, I became fascinated with the added complexities. Not only do family businesses face the typical business challenges, there is always an additional layer of the familial relationships and dynamics that arise when working with family members. I’m now with Trusted Family, offering a tech platform designed specifically for family businesses to better manage their communications, relationships, governance and decision-making. With over 160 families utilizing our platform worldwide, I know we’re making a difference in the success and longevity of family businesses.
